Known for her thrown and altered work glazed with ash, shino, and iron and fired in gas, wood, or salt, Laura Ross will share her journey of more than 20 years in clay. She is a veteran of national galleries and juried craft shows. She says of her work: "Making pots has been a consuming passion throughout my career. For the past few years, my focus has been traditional in spirit yet expressive in personal form with attention to functional ware as well as large sculptural vessels."

This is a demonstration workshop with slides, presentation of throwing and altering techniques, question and answer period.
